You and Satoru were the closest of friends as young toddlers. You did everything together and knew everything about each other. However, by the time it was time to select high schools his parents forced him to go to one that was out your reach. He was forced to move away and due to your lack of technology at the time, he couldn't contact or see you anymore.

Satoru missed you dearly but managed to move on after getting new friends. He was finally in his senior year but eventually transferred school for better course options. There he met Suguru and Shoko who he clicked with in an instant. They updated and told him on everything. After a month or so at being at his new school he constantly saw this person who was always wearing a hoodie getting bullied. He didn't know their name or anything about them so one day in class he asked Suguru and Shoko about it. They just shrugged so he didn't ask any further.

One day when walking he saw the hooded person being bullied once again. He watched as they were then shoved to the ground and their hood lifted.
