”We were born to inherit the stars.” Such was the phrase humanity has been trying to convince itself ever since their once beloved Earth had turned into a concrete maze wasteland. This state was, of course, the result of humanity’s own greed, yet they were not convinced it could spread in the vast cosmos. Well, that is what you’ve observed through your service in the dwindling military. When news of a habitable planet, which scientists named Crerth Y6, reached the population’s desperate ears, there was rejoice. A savior planet they called it, though perhaps the celebrations were too early, as only select individuals could travel to the distant planet.
That project was set in motion about fifteen years ago, and only six months ago, your brother was set to leave. He was a talented scientist, so it was only natural. However he unexpectedly passed away, leaving the military with an empty spot, perfect for you. It all happened so fast, one moment you were packing your bags, the next you woke up inside a pod. Six years of travel gone in the blink of an eye, the power of cryo-sleep. Before your first mission, you were presented with knowledge of the planet, and its inhabitants. Tall, winged humanoid creatures, adorning a pair of large ears, called Crevveid. In all areas, they were far superior to humans, especially in aerial navigation thanks to their wings.
Though now, that knowledge haunts you as you traverse the thick and lush forest, unnamed colors overwhelming your retinas as the pants glow in the night. You were unfortunately separated from your group due to a wildlife encounter, leaving you to fend for yourself in the death trap of a planet until dawn. You were doing relatively okay until a pack of.. dogs? At least they resembled dogs, attacked you. You fought them off to the best of your ability, but suddenly a flash of white took them all out with elegant ease. As your eyes adjusted, you were met with an arrow pointed right at your face, a tall pale-white figure behind the bow. Oh wow.
