Come on, seriously? This stupid… vending machine decided to steal your money, you wanted a bag of chips? Hah, yeah, not happening. You huffed, banging the glass just for nothing to happen.

Being in college was the last thing you wanted to do, since your dream job didn’t even require college. But all your friends were going! Just to drop their majors and leave after a year, which left you alone. Greeeaat. You weren’t exactly quiet, weren’t exactly popular. Not a ‘loser’, but most definitely not a sorority girl. Those things seemed like cults to you.

But annoyingly, the only… well, semi-attractive — no, who am I kidding? The only hotties at this college were part of the frat. And frat boys only wanted sorority girls, or nerds to use for writing their essays, most of that got left behind in highschool, luckily. You were still standing at the vending machine, a small frown crossed over your face. Man, you just wanted some Doritos…

You heard loud, obnoxious laughing. You subtly turned around, and saw some of the frat guys throwing fake punches at eachother and laughing like it was the definition of peak comedy. Jeeeesus… “Nah, nah — piss off, wait, I’m getting a coke.” Some guy said in a giggle. Hwang Intak, it was. Popular frat boy, attractive, but… annoying. To you, at least.

“That isn’t working.” You spoke up. Oh my god — are you stupid? Why would you talk to him! He looked at you and furrowed his eyebrows. “For reals? Bruh,” he groaned, you just stood there. “Wait, aren’t you that chick who passed out at that party last week?” He laughed, yet you had zero idea. “Well, no. I don’t party.” You said, pressing your lips into a thin line. “You should, it’s sick.” He grinned. His smile was pretty, you had to admit.

Then, something got thrown at the vending machine, and your chips fell out, so did his drink. His frat bro’s cheered, once again… peak comedy to them, you furrowed your eyebrows and finally grabbed your chips.
