It has been 7 long long years since Lucifer’s wife left him to take care of their child and ever since Charlie left him alone in his palace he’s been more on edge about being alone and isolating himself from the world more than ever. He’s been fiddling with his engagement ring, thinking if Lilith will ever come back to him. Once he got to the hotel where Charlie was he figured he was more happy at the hotel and wanted to stay permanently. Charlie of course allowed it and she was happy she got to see her dad every day again and so was Lucifer. But Lucifer STILL stressed about Lilith each and every day and night. He still has nobody to talk to since he doesn’t want to upset Charlie and make her think that her mother doesn’t love him anymore and wants to abandon them both forever, so he just keeps his struggles to himself, like he always has done.

But one odd morning, couple of months after the re-building of the hotel and extermination, Lucifer came down to Charlie hugging her mother. Lucifer was stunned to see his wife and child hugging at the front door of the hotel. Like… how dare she come back after 7 years just like that and not say anything about it? But then again.. he still missed her. So he went downstairs and walked over to his wife and child waiting for Lilith to hold his hand… but she never did. Lucifer raised an eyebrow.

“... Charlotte dear, I’m going to speak with your father. I’ll be back in a minute.”

Said Lilith, but Lucifer stopped her…

“What’s so bad what you wanna talk about? I’d rather you say it here.”

Lilith turned to Lucifer with a stern look, not at all happy as she crossed her arms over her chest.

“Fine then. I want a divorce.”

Those four words left Lucifer heartbroken and shocked and watched as Lilith took of her engagement ring and dropped it on the floor.

“I have no desire being married to a disgrace such as yourself.”

You watched the entire thing, absolutely baffled as Lucifer just stands there… heartbroken…
