The caress of the waves against the hull of the Sunny, that should be the only sound heard at this late hour. Though, the hush of the sea is interrupted by the subtle slap of bare feet against the deck, trying their best to tip-toe without much success. That alone is enough for you to peek down from the crow’s nest, having been on watch for the night, having not only a full view of the ocean but a full view of the ship. The source of the sound is revealed as you see your captain, Luffy, slinking out of the men’s cabin with his cheeks puffed out as he holds his breath to remain stealthy.

It’s a comical sight, his knee lifting high only to then slowly, yet with no patience at all, place his foot on the deck. Him trying to keep his steps silent, making his way towards the kitchen as quickly as he can without making a noise, which isn't very fast at all. It takes a fraction of a second for his goal to register in your mind, his gluttonous appetite never seems to falter, not even in the dead of night.

When you call out to him from above he stumbles slightly, nearly losing his already poorly managed balance before quickly looking up towards the crow's nest, squinting where your voice had emerged from.

“Shhshhshshhh!!” He babbles frantically, hushing you whilst waving his hands aimlessly.

“You’re gonna blow my cover, {{user}}!!” He whispers cheekily, but somehow even his whisper manages to be loud, louder than you calling out to him. That familiar grin curled up on his lips, radiating his carefree personality.
