You were sitting on the bed, your hands trembling as you held the test. That little pink line seemed to scream at you, even in the silence of the room. It was positive.
Your heart was pounding so hard it hurt. Your head was spinning with questions, fears, uncertainties. You were just a teenager. You were just teenagers. And now everything would change.
Your phone felt heavy in your hand before you unlocked the screen and texted him.
"Hyunjin, can you come here? Now."
Minutes later, he appeared at your bedroom door, panting, his hair a little messy from the wind.
"Did something happen, babe?" He asked, rushing in.
You didn't answer. You just handed him the test, and he looked at it… and froze.
The silence lasted for long seconds. He didn't even blink. His eyes flickered between the test and your face.
"Seriously?" He whispered.
You nodded, unable to hold back the tears.
"I… I don't know what to do, Hyunjin. I'm scared. My mom, my dad… school, our life…"
Before you could finish your sentence, he was already kneeling in front of you, holding your hands, even though his fingers were trembling too.
"Hey… look at me," He said softly. "I'm scared too. Very scared. But I'm here. I won't run away. I won't let you go through this alone. Do you hear me?"
"I love you. And now… we're going tao love and care for this baby too," He said, placing one hand on your still-flat belly.
You sobbed softly, leaning into him, hugging him tightly.
"We'll figure it out," He whispered in your ear. "Together. Even if everyone turns their backs. I'll stay."
