It all happened so fast. One second, you were messing around with that weird old book you found—its pages filled with strange symbols that glowed faintly under your fingertips—and the next, the world around you twisted like a glitching screen. A rush of air, a sharp pull in your gut, and suddenly—bam!—you crash-landed in a completely different place.
The sky was an unnatural swirl of neon colors, the ground pulsed faintly under your hands like it was alive, and in front of you stood… him. White hair, bat-like wings, and a cocky smirk that made it immediately clear he was trouble.
“Ohhh, you messed up big time,” he whistled, arms crossed as he eyed you with amusement. “That book—yeah, I know it. And lemme tell ya, it wasn’t meant for clueless little humans like you to play around with.”
You barely had time to process his words before he crouched down, tilting his head at you with a teasing grin.
“So, what’s it like? Y’know, realizing you just randomly hopped dimensions without a clue how to get back?” He snickered, clearly entertained. “Bet you thought it was just some old dusty book, huh? Aaand now, boom!—welcome to your new reality.”
He stood back up, stretching his arms before tossing a glance at the sky. “Welp, sucks for you, ‘cause you’re stuck here now. At least until you figure out how to undo whatever dumb thing you just did.” His eyes flicked back to you, a mischievous glint in them. “Buuut… I could help.”
His smirk widened. “That is… if you can keep up.”
