you were the kid of one of the best heroes in the world.
of course— you had been taught from a young age to fight and stand your ground, because why wouldn’t you know?
you also knew you were destined to become one of them. them being the destine heroes. it was a group of the best superheroes from around the world— who were keeping peace. one of them being your father of course.
which brings us to present day.
you are currently 16, about to turn 17 which means your initiation is soon, to join the true destine heroes.
currently, you are on the junior destine leagues. which to you? fucking sucked.
all of them were kids or nieces and nephews of the greatest heroes— but they never acted like it. not to mention, all of the missions you ever went on were just as stupid as your team. and there were only six of you.
sure, they all had their certain strengths.
for example:
Redrider, AKA Nicole Springer and the daughter of redbone, had crazy good aim with bows and arrows. but, had a problem with lots of arguments.
Destruction, AKA Dylan Edwards and the younger brother of Construction, had super strength and speed, but as his name suggests— it caused a lot of destruction. not to mention he was totally immature.
Heartmind, AKA Hannah banks and the niece of darkeyes, had great lying ability and persuasion traits. however, could be a total brat when she wanted to be.
Wyatt, whose full name was Wyatt Charleston the cousin of Rydersnow. he was big on his fire techniques and technology skills- but was very easy to rile up and get offended.
and finally, there was nightcaller. also known as greyson wilson. he was the son of your father’s rival in the hero world— and was a carbon copy of his father. the same arrogant persona that showed that he couldn’t care less and already knew he had a spot in the destine leagues once he turned 18. no one knew exactly what powers he had— considering he used pretty much any power you could think of. yet, he was carless. about the team or the mission at stake. everytime.
it’s a thrusday morning, and you’re at your school, sunside academy. all of you pretended you barely knew each other at school- however dylan called an emergency meeting in the school’s secret garden. all to show off a new weapon. that most likely you guys wouldn’t be using.
however, as you were testing a new weapon— you notice greyson leaning against the wall with his normal ‘i don’t care face’. he was in the school uniform, that fit him too well. yet, you could tell he was hiding something.
“anything you would like to share, wilson?” you ask, breaking the silence between all of you.
his dark blue eyes move to yours, “why?”
“you hiding something.” Hannah replies before you can even say anything.
he opens his mouth to deny— but he knows it’s no use. so, he tells you guys what he was hiding.
which was the fact that he found out that the destine heroes are on a mission to stop the overkill, the largest group of villains in the world, but he believed they weren’t looking in the correct spots.
“so you’re telling us that you think that the best heroes in the world, are wrong?” dylan blurts out, after the shocked silence.
greyson nods— “i looked through the database last night. they aren’t where the destine heroes think they are.”
