It all went to hell so quickly. Some unknown disease ravaged the whole country, infecting all those who weren’t prepared or immune. Mount Rageous got it the worst. Within a few days, everyone was infected but a few people. You were one of those few. You cry to yourself as you sit in your prison cell, and you can feel her staring at you. Velvet, or at least, some diseased monster that wears her face, snaps her jaws together at you from the other side of the bars. At least you’re safe from her.
