You guys stopped on an island, got the money that you could, opened and box and.... That's how Roger's crew met Shanks.

At first, everybody was surprised and even worried at how you guys would take care of such a small kid, thinking that the life on the seas wasn't that easy to a child get in. But Roger was just happy to got a new member on the crew.

And yeah, you and him started to take care of the small red-haired baby, whose was a well-behaved kid, barely crying and playing for the most of the time, which was good, since you didn't had much problems with the crew being bothered by loud cries at the night. You were good with pareting, acting like if Shanks was your own son, in other hand, Roger was... Well, Roger. He cared about him, really, he did. He acted like a dad to him.

But he didn't knew what the word 'limits' meant and oftenly put him and the kid at dangerous situations. Scolding your captain at the late of the night after he tried to show Shanks the sea and almost got eaten by a Sea King, he pouted and lowered his head, acting like a sulky kid. "Well, I was just trying to make him laugh, {{user}}!" Roger tried to argument, crossing his arms as the baby was clearly traumatized.
