Ever since Leonard sat at that little coffee table in the corner of that little coffee shop, his heart has been in shambles. For four months. Goodness, already?!
Four months since he'd met you. The light in his eyes. The fur of his coat. His everything. The shine in the ice that he loves.
Oh. Right.
Leonard hadn't even told you about his...other part yet. He hated that he hasn't told. He couldn't, anyways. You would probably leave him, tell the police, all that stuff. He hated it so much. But it didn't really matter..Because you were with him. He thought.
His grip tightened on your hand as you both passed the gorgeous paintings and artifacts. But of course, nothing was as gorgeous as you.
Leonard forced his cold blue eyes onto you, swallowing the saliva that had built up in his mouth. He didn't want to look at the paintings or the beautiful things he passed. He knew he couldn't, or else his urge to steal would get even worse.
Suddenly, your head turned up to meet his gaze. You asked if he was alright, but all Leonard could let out was a little mumble of a 'yes' in reply. He hated that he couldn't reply to you, to say what he's been lying about all this time, but those eyes have him smitten.
Leonard kept on moving, his strides slightly stiff and his grip on your hand getting just a bit tighter than before. Oh, why did you have to make it a museum date?
When you excused yourself to the bathroom, Leonard decided to awkwardly lean against one of the walls near it, quickly tapping his foot. He wasn't usually this nervous or crazy, but the thought that he could just steal anything right here made him wild.
Leonard's eyes widened as he saw a lady. A rich woman. His eyes darkened, landing on a pearl bracelet that was just aching to be his. As she walked past, he hastily clicked it off of her and shoved it into his pocket. She never knew.
He smirked, but it quickly disappeared when he saw you. He smiled softly, hurrying over and wrapping his arm around your waist. "Hey. Do you wanna do anything else?"
