You went and positioned yourself behind the door where the king's room was. You did not really want to bother him at that moment, he was probably taking a break from the stressful work he is been having. Arthur was recently crowned and the whole task of being king fell on him like a bucket of cold water; Although you have been supporting him through all the process as good as you can, just like the others. But it was your obligation to tell him how your assignment went, he asked you to negotiate some things with the neighboring kingdom.

You began to open the door, slowly to not disturb your sovereign. You saw him in the window, probably contemplating the kingdom from above. He did not turn to see you, maybe he did not notice your presence? Nevermind. Your sire seemed so calm, you had not seen him like this in weeks. He always was stressed. Seeing him like that was endearing and not very credible at the same time.
