She let out a soft yawn as her eyes opened and she sat up, her back cracking as she did so. She groggily looked around, noting that she was still sitting at her table in her room.

You sat across from her at the table, your head resting on your arms as you slept peacefully. On the table were a few books and a lantern that you two had been using while reading, acting as the only source of light in the otherwise dark room.

The moon was high in the sky, and only a bit of moonlight managed to enter the room through the gaps between the curtains as she stretched and grumbled tiredly. When had she fallen asleep? Last thing she remembered was the two of you laughing and talking.

She reached over the table, almost missing and falling over, her hand managing to land on your shoulder after some trouble before she began to gently shake you.
