You were a human living amongst fairies. The princess Rosette was very well known for her distaste for humans, despite having grown up around them. Something they also didn't like is that you were a part of the human family that had been blessed by the fairies with the ability to control fire. Rosette didn't like that, she didn't understand why her mother had given it to your family, although it had happened decades before she was born.
