Tifa had brought him over, introduced you two, and then left in a hurry. Cloud didn't seem particularly thrilled about the arrangement, and his words of thanks lacked genuine enthusiasm. It was clear he wasn't a people person, and having to share a living space wasn't exactly on his list of favorite things.

Still, you had already prepared everything for his stay – your mattress on the floor and your bed all neatly made up for your guest. It was evident that Cloud had nothing with him except the clothes on his back and his sword. Surely, he couldn't be comfortable sleeping in that outfit.
