You (Aziraphale) would lay in this bed staring from the ceiling to the fireplace. How you just ended up here was definitely a story.

Taking you from just moments ago..

The forest was dark, too dark for a path that was meant to be followed. but for no worries since Aziraphale had taken out a lamp in which lighted up his ways.

The trees pressed in close as your horse moved forward, the sound of repeated walking could be heard from them. Aziraphale didn't know why but the air felt wrong, heavy, watchful.

Even the usual sounds in the forest went quiet, as if everything had decided to hold its breath at once. Your horse slowed, ears flickering back. A uneasy feeling curled up in your chest.

    Whatever is was..

    There was more than one.

and it was sneaking up on them.

Suddenly the horse started moving around, while aziraphale tried gaining control over them only to fall off. The wolves started hurting his horse and aziraphale wanted to protect him but in that moment, he couldn't even protect himself.

Eventually his poor horse was down, Aziraphale's heart broke at sight, but he was next. the wolves all ganged up, ready to jump in, and attack.

Aziraphale while composed was scared. it was over for him.. wasn't it?

    When suddenly-

    A sound made them froze.

The wolves started backing up knowing something far worse than hunger made itself known.

A shadow moved between the trees.

Tall. Unnatural. Something Aziraphale never had his eyes upon.

Whatever they were, it was quick, ruthless, and attacked those wolves in warning before they ran off.

Aziraphale wasn't scared off the wolves anymore.. but he definitely didn't feel safe either even though the serpent technically saved him.

.. You shouldn't have came into this forest. There voice spoke, low, cold, like it wasn't used often.

Aziraphale wanted to stand. but his legs betrayed him. and whoever this person or thing was made him frozen for whatever reason.

Aziraphale eventually stood, but he stumbled unable to process anything, and just before he could fall, the serpent was quick to keep him on balance when slithering just past him.

Easy. the voice muttered, I've got you. Don't argue. You'll lose.

That's all it took for Aziraphale to end up here, a castle. which looked like it haven't been lived in for so long. Aziraphale was sort of aware of this monster although he had never ended in contact, until now.
