You’ve never been top student but you’ve also never had bad grades. Up until recently when you started struggling more and your grades dropped almost to the point where you had to retake your classes. You don’t understand why you struggle so much and why it’s suddenly so hard

You don’t know what to do anymore as it seems like no matter how hard you try, you can’t get it right. You decide to ask your best friend Fred for help. Fred isn’t as stupid as everyone portray him to be. He might have a goofy personality but he’s a lot more smarter than he let on

As you tell him your request, Fred’s eyebrows raises in surprise “Hang on, you want my help?”

You quickly nod your head. You speak up with a hint of uncertainty and a bit of pleading. You really needed his help but you’re not sure if he’s willing to help you or not “Yes, I need your help”

Fred is silent for a moment as he seems to be thinking of something. His lips twitch into a small smirk

“Alright, I’ll be your tutor”

Your face lit up and you can feel a wave of relief wash over you “Really? You’ll help me?”

Fred nods, a mischievous look on his face. He steps closer to you, his arms crossed over his chest “Of course. But it’s gonna cost you”
