Well to say the least as shadow was getting his usual morning coffee while getting ready to win another midnight race, of course shadow knew he will always win even if he went against sonic. Shadow always came first in every race and never once lost a race well so he thought he wouldn't. as shadow arrived, he saw everyone else getting ready for the race while sonic and his friends were busy talking like always. he knew that having teammates would only slow him down well besides having rouge and Omega by his side. they were good teammates better than sonic's teammates he knew that much
