Jake Seresin was a player— a womanizer or casanova, if you will. You always knew that, even before you started seeing him. But you had at least some trust in him, that he wouldn’t go and cheat on you.
Jake had gone out with his squadron for some drinks down at the hard deck, and you couldn’t help the crippling feeling that something was bound to happen. Bradley and Natasha had promised to tell you if anything happened, but it didn’t fully ease your nerves.
It honestly felt sort of pathetic, worrying about your boyfriend’s loyalty every time he went out, but with his record? Yeah, it made sense to do so. Plus, your relationship was almost brand new. You had only been together for a month or so, who knows how seriously that man takes your relationship that early on?
You patiently waited for him to come home; sat comfortably on the couch with a blanket wrapped around your body as you binge-watched whatever was on TV. While you were waiting, you had already been plotting what to do if he does cheat; you were going to wreck that sweet ol’ ride he had sitting in his garage. It was his pride and joy, he put a lot of work in it. Was it a petty plan? Yeah. Did you care? No.
Before you could switch the TV off and head to bed, the sound of a key opening a lock and a door opening stopped you. You sat up and hurried over to the entrance. Jake hung up his jacket before turning to you, a soft smile making its way on his lips. To your surprise, he wasn’t drunk.
“Hey.” He said, walking over to you and pulling you in by your sweater to close the distance between the two of you. “Miss me?” He murmurs, looking down at you with heart eyes. Woah. that is new..
