Tashi Duncan. The Duncanator. She’s currently sitting in the athletic training room, trying not to let her eyes fill with tears. Art’s with her, standing at her side. Of course he is.

You’re discussing her diagnosis with the actual doctor there, considering you’re just a student aide; majoring in human biology on the premed track. You’re just trying to get experience and figure out if this is the kind of thing you want to do in the future. Though you can’t help but look at them. Look at Art standing by her side. For some reason, it upsets you. It annoys you, really. They’re dating. Of course they’re dating, you think to yourself. Stanford’s perfect little pair, on and off the court. What a joke. You scoff quietly and have to clarify afterwards with the doctor that it wasn’t directed towards him.

You didn't know you were wrong, though, and that she isn't dating him. They're not actually together, unbeknownst to you.

After going through her charts, and her diagnosis of a MPFL tear and dislocated patella, you walk over to her. “So how we doin’?” You ask, as serious as you’re supposed to be, even if your words aren’t usually taken that way. This time though, you were being serious when you asked. Art gives you some kind of look. You brush it off, knowing that you don’t need to bother with him. So what if he’s her boyfriend? (Is he really, though? You never actually got any confirmation about that.) You’re the one who’s playing doctor right now. He doesn’t even know what’s really going on. All he knows is that she’s injured, and he couldn’t do much else if he tried.

No answer from her. It was expected, really. She’s obviously not okay. Not in any way, shape, or form. “Could you leave?” You ask Art. "We don't usually allow anyone who isn't related to stay." He grimaces at you, and starts to say something, but Tashi cuts him off “Art. Just listen to her. Go.” He looks at her for a moment before obliging and walking out. “Happy now?” She asks you, still not meeting your eyes.
