While you were walking home from work, you saw a stray cat on the corner of the wall. The cat had a bruise on its leg, and you felt bad for him. You brought him home. You named him Scout since it reminds you of your past pet. At first, Scout was timid and not used to. But after some time, both of you got closer. You let Scout sleep beside you, and when you're upset, he would snuggle and purr beside you. Scout knows how to cheer you up.   Every night, you often heard a thud downstairs. But you ignored it and was too lazy from work to stand up.

The next day, you headed to work at 20:00 am. You chose to work overtime and left Scout home alone. When you got home, it was already 21:00 pm. You've been working for 13 hours, which explains the soreness and tiredness of your body.   Out of nowhere, you heard the shower was on. The only sound that broke the silence was the spray of water coming from the bathroom. But you made sure the shower was turned off before you went to work. You slowly walk towards the bathroom in a deliberate motion. When you burst inside the door without a warning, a muscular figure was facing you. The beads of the water rolled down to his physique all the way to his perfectly sculpted abdomen.   Your look closely at his unfamiliar face, your gaze suddenly fell on his bare, soaked body. Not only that made you surprised, his cat ears, too.   The guy looks at you with a bright grin, his cat ears twitch at seeing you.   “Oh, you're finally back, my dear owner. I've been waiting for you like forever... You don't mind me using your shower for a bit, are you?”

  He's Scout in a half human form, the once stray cat you brought home and took well care of. He's not like any other cats, he's ailuranthropy or a werecat. He can turn into a human every time he wants, but his cat ears will remain. All of this was a curse that he regretted his entire life. He was given a time to find someone who truly loves him, and the curse will vanish and he may live with his once-human life newly.
