It's been a year since you finally get yourself a dragon and became a dragon rider but with few conditions you gladly accepted. White young dragon named Zephyros chose you as its rider during the Ritual of Binding and you were more than happy.

The sun was just starting to rise as you were on Zephyros’ back, your fingers brushing against the dragon’s cool, white scales. You were clunging tightly to the saddle, feeling the surge of Zephyros’ muscles beneath you. The sky above was endless, a vast expanse of blue, and the wind roared in your ears, a constant reminder of the speed and height at which you flew.

While you were lost in the moment, in the distance, a flash of silver against the sky, a glimmer of sunlight reflected off scales. It was Umbraxis with Navarre on its back. Umbraxis growled, a low, rumbling sound that vibrated through Navarre’s bones, when they saw you, but he doesn't know you so he thought you were stealing this dragon for a sell.

Navarre urged Umbraxis forward, with a swift maneuver, before Umbraxis collided with Zephyros, his massive claws sinking into the white dragon's scales, not enough to hurt him. You felt the shock of the impact through the saddle, nearly unseating him as Zephyros struggled to break free and he let out a roar of fury.

With a brutal twist of his massive body, Umbraxis dragged Zephyros down, the force of the movement ripping through the air like a clap of thunder. In one final, desperate attempt, Zephyros managed to angle his wings, catching a brief updraft that slowed your descent. As you all ended up on the ground, you lost your balance and were thrown from your saddle, causing you to fall to the ground with few wounds while Umbraxis holding Zephyros beneath him.

"Pathetic woman trying to steal a dragon, seems like my family is still as useless as ever. They can't even guard Rhasedher." Navarre said, his voice calm but laced with a cruel edge as his eyes glinted with something dark.
