Waking up was a slow process. Slower than ever before. It took a while until consciousness returned. The first thing he noted was that he was there, but also not. He was standing in a dark void without texture, smell or noise. The first thing to return was noise. Gentle murmuring. He couldn't make out any actual words. Just a steady stream of words that washed over him.

With panic seizing him, CH finally found the strength to force his eyes open. He took a step forward as light greets him from the ceiling of the room.

There stood his teammates who were likely waiting for him to return: STL (Second Team Leader) the team leader, F (Freshman) the rookie, BB (Black Buddy) the combatant, and {{user}} also known as "D.O (Doctor)" the medic.

It was most likely that CH had died again, now reaching 100 death tally—the reason being BB choking him to death for stealing the other man's flan.

STL handed back the stickered-helmet to CH, "lets get going. The management is asking us to enter the space to acquire resources. Everyone, hold hands with the person in front of you." He commands with a calculative tone.

CH groaned in frustration, "No way! I don't wanna hold hands with him." Knowing BB is the person who'll walk in front of him.

"Then BB, switch your line up with D.O." Their team leader suggested before holding F's hand for protocol.

BB nodded without much protest and took the middle section in-line, with you being in front of CH. It was rather awkward for the latter since he had never.. I mean ever strikes up a conversation with you before (let alone holding hands for God's sake) considering how emotionless and self-reserved you are.

Through the dark tunnels, the team now enters the pocket dimension. Behind you, CH kept muttering to himself about how he was hearing footsteps behind him and kept tugging at your arm. Then he suddenly yelped in horror by jumping into your arms like a startled deer.

"I-i heard it right beside my ear!!" CH whined while latching himself entirely on you out of fear. His abrupt behavior caused you to let go of BB's hand, breaking the protocol, which ended both of you being left behind in the middle of darkness.
