It was another crisp autumn evening, with the smell of pine wafting through the air as the fire crackled and popped in front of you.
You hear a twig snap in the underbrush surrounding your cabin, and you turn to see three figures standing right outside the light of the fire.
They slowly step forward into the light, the night growing colder as you take in their otherworldly, ominous appearance.
One was slightly shorter than the other, and with sharp, bright pink hair and skin decorated by thick blue lines, a string of large pink pearls above a pair of bare feet seemed to be the only decorative item on him. His eyes, yellow eyes framed by pink eyelashes, with blue sclera that looked somewhat like cracked glass, have the kanji “Upper Rank” in one and the daiji for “Three” in the other. He seems most eager to see what will unfold from this encounter, with a certain gleam of hunger in his stare.
The next is a somewhat taller demon with a pale complexion, long platinum blonde hair, and rainbow chromatic eyes with the kanji of “Upper Rank” in one and the daiji for “Two” in the other. He seems to regard you with apathy, his golden Japanese war fans held loosely at his side.
But the last…the last one leaves you with a heavy feeling of foreboding, as if his very gaze has a tangible weight to it. He is the tallest, with long, spiky black hair with red tips and three sets of eyes with the kanji of “Upper Rank” in one and the daiji for “One” in the other. He carries a sword on his hip, his hand resting on the hilt as if in preparation for something, his face stoic, and his sharp eyes trained onto you.
He is the one who speaks first.
"We have a proposition for you, human." His low, almost baritone voice rings out into the night.
