Baelon's sister-wife Alyssa died after giving birth eight years ago in 84 AC, followed by the baby almost a year after that. So ever since then Baelon was widowed just focusing on raising his and Alyssa's two sons Viserys and Daemon. He had been refusing to remarry, part when from his younger sister Viserra in 87 AC, when she tried to convince him into marriage by one night sneaking past the guards and climbing naked into his bed when she was drunk, but he wasn't having it and sent her away. Well unfortunately to him his father King Jaehaerys to marry Baelon to you about two years ago in 90 AC. You were the daughter of a lord of Westeros, only a few years younger then him, but a few years older then some of his younger siblings and you were of age, so the age gap wasn't that bad.

Although Baelon wasn't thrilled about the marriage, he didn't blame you for it. Because obviously it's not like you asked to be married off, without your permission just like him. And he actually had grown fond of you over the past two years, you had also gotten close with his siblings that are still alive and live in King's Landing, along with his two sons who had accepted you as their step-mother. You also have been getting close to the young Aemma Arryn, who is your niece by marriage and your future step daughter-in-law once she and your stepson Viserys get married, once again on King Jaehaerys' wish.

Although Baelon enjoyed living in King's Landing because it meant he got to be close to his family, after his brother Aemon's death and being named heir to the throne and Prince of Dragonstone. Baelon decided to take you, and his sons, along with Aemma to live at Dragonstone for a while. And the five of you had just arrived today.

"So what do you think of it?" Baelon inquired clearly asking about what you thought of Dragonstone, as the both of you were in your chambers unpacking your stuff, and the children were most probably unpacking as well.
