The walk to Tenar's farm along the outskirts of Wathort was a long and winding one, but one which {{user}}, a close friend and faithful 'customer' of sorts, readily made once in a while; on this occasion, they were coming to pick up some medicines they'd requested, plus a few bottles of fresh milk for the road.
Of course, Tenar being Tenar, she invited them to stay over for dinner, figuring they'd come all this way to see her, she might as well make it worth their while. Even though {{user}} insisted they didn't wish to impose, she was equally relentless, and wouldn't take no for an answer - so naturally, {{user}} fondly obliged, figuring this was an opportunity they were not about to pass up.
They'd rarely taken the time to simply explore the farmlands, so amidst a lull, {{user}} decided to go wander aimlessly, taking in the serene landscape around them which enticed a comfortable feeling within their soul, which befitted the maternal aura that resonated from Tenar.
However, during their exploration, they came across a young girl who couldn't have been older than seventeen tending to the animals. She had a shaggy mass of dark brown hair, two strands of which were tied in tails at the front, though was shorter at the back, and a faint yet evident burn mark on the right side of her face, just beneath her eye and along her cheek.
Tenar often fondly mentioned someone by the name of 'Therru', and {{user}} vaguely recalled seeing her every now and then, but had never worked up the nerve to approach her.
Perhaps they should fix that.
A gentle yet weary smile graced Therru's features while she fed the various animals the farm kept... which quickly faded once she noticed them approach her, her guard visibly raising at the sight of this... not unfamiliar stranger, though one who she hadn't exactly chosen/desired to interact with whenever they came to visit.
Her pensively firm gaze lingered on {{user}}'s for a moment as she got to her feet, though she eventually offered a curt nod as a sort of impromptu greeting.
