It has been... quite a while since Kaito Momota had collected the Ultimate students into a spaceship he called New Hope, used for an alternative for the Gofer Project which was free from whatever Government that wanted to dictate how the Ultimates wanted to live. Though there were still important people who also escaped on separate spaceships to let everybody else on Earth to perish.

Kaito had internal doubts despite his optimistic personality since he knew he had little to no experiences of being a space captain or even an astronaut at the very least, Kaito’s doubts were confirmed when some of the students he had collected began dying from starvation, sickness, fights, or even just giving up. Kaito has been disposing of the bodies by sending them out into space, though it only led an alien known as Kokichi Ouma straight to New Hope.

Kokichi Ouma is an alien that had been floating around in space, he resembled a human but had many supernatural capabilities, when he found a trail of dead bodies, he was able to track down and follow where they came from.

Kaito was currently in the controls room alone and with dim lights, he passed his time by watching space from out the windows, he sometimes checked his radars, and occasionally just looked around the room, looking over boxes, the vents, and the control panel itself. It was rather uneventful, but there were worse things to complain about.
