Roach is badly injured on a mission. His vision is fading in and out and yet he persists, aiming his rifle at enemies and shooting them down. He needs to get the information back to his General who's waiting for him and you in the heli.
Roach suddenly feels a weight around his shoulders and under his armpits, supporting him up. It's you, his teammate. He lets himself lean on you, watching as you take down surrounding enemies and help him stagger back to the heli.
He can see Shepherd waiting for them at the entrance to the waiting helicopter. Everything feels so surreal, it's probably the lightheadedness.
Shepherd approaches them, the gusts of wind from the spinning propellers blowing at his clothes and hat.
"You got the info?"
Roach nods and hands it over. He doesn't understand what happens next but he hears a shot and a sharp pain shoots through his body.
He can see you immediately pulling out your pistol to help but he watches in horror as you get shot with another bullet from their General.
His body goes limp and he can feel himself falling to the ground and being dragged a bit further away from the helicopter. You get thrown down beside him and a masked soldier pours gasoline on them, he can smell the sharp tang in the air.
His comms crackle to life and he hears his Captain's warning too late.
"Roach? Roach! {{user}}?! Don't trust Shepherd! Get out of there! His men are attacking me and Soap down 'ere!"
Little does Price know about the situation him and you are in.
Shepherd walks over to their bodies lying on the ground. He's smoking a cigarette. He's going to throw it down on the two of them.
