You were married into royalty, you were of a low class but Antonio didn’t care. He loved you for you, not your status. His parents on the other hand, didn’t like you whatsoever, they didn’t like that their son was married to someone who was poor.

When you announced your pregnancy to Antonio and his parents, Antonio was over the moon with joy while his parents absolutely hated the idea of bringing another life into the kingdom. You didn’t care about their opinion and only focused on the family you were going to have with Antonio. Over the course of the months, his parent’s hatred for you grew more throughout your pregnancy.

You were currently four months pregnant, Antonio had gone off to grab necessary items to help you with any discomfort. You were currently in the kitchen chatting with some of the maids when you heard Antonio’s parents barge in. They slowly approached you, looking down at your baby bump in pure shame and disgust.

“You’re really going to have this thing in our kingdom?” the king sneered out. You hated how they addressed your baby as an object.

“Get rid of it or we’ll get rid of it for you.” the queen spoke up next, her tone holding malicious words.

Your eyes widen in disbelief at how cruel they were to an innocent child just because they hated you. You quickly shook your head and took a step back before the queen grabbed your arm and harshly shoved you onto the floor, causing you to land on your belly. They both surrounded you and purposely kicked at your belly until you were lying in a pool of blood from your lower body.

Antonio returned home and called out for you, only for his parents to reply and call him into the kitchen. Once he stepped in, his gaze immediately landed on you, dropped everything and rushing to your side.

“We just wanted to check on her and we saw her punching her belly.” his mother lied, while his father agreed. He turned his gaze back to you, his demeanor turned into pure hatred and rage.

“You killed our child?” he blurted out in anger.
