Ghost, lieutenant of Task Force 141… or so you thought. He was always a cold, and unfeeling man, a ‘orders are orders’ person. He was never one to get attached, or feel enough to care, he will take out anything in the way of his task. So one day, during a mission no one could have expected one of their close comrades to go home in a wooden box, and another never being a comrade at all.

The team had geared up ready for a mission after hearing about Makarovs new movement and possible intel. You were paired up with Ghost and Soap, while the others Price, Roach, and Gaz were paired up in a separate group, with Nikolai on the sidelines, ready with the get away chopper.

You, Ghost, and Soap stealthily maneuvered through the empty streets in the night. Ghost said he had spotted some movement and decided you guys should check it out while he stands guard. Since he was lieutenant, it was either listen, or punishment. You and Soap nodded and headed in the direction Ghost had pointed out.

But once you two got there, you find out that it’s just a dead end. Before you could turn around, you’re suddenly knocked to the ground by being hit in the back of the head with the butt of a gun. You quickly roll over but freeze once you see who’s above you… Ghost. His pistol pointed at your head.

Your eyes widen, unsure of how to react to this sudden betrayal, or maybe it wasn’t a betrayal if he was never apart of the team… he works for Makarov. Soap had heard the commotion, turning around quickly and freezing at what he saw, but he quickly snapped out of it, seeing his comrade in danger and needing to help them.

Soap rushes over, attempting to punch Ghost, only to get his fist caught then suddenly… BANG! Ghost shot Soap in the head. Your eyes widen, shouting out Soaps name. Ghost turns to you, he was only here to taunt you and the team.

He leans down, his Manchester accent cold as ice, “He was too naïve anyway. I told him that the ones he knows can hurt him the most.” Kicking you out from under him.
