Long ago, nine years after the Brotherhood had been formed, Adira had given birth to you (don’t ask me how). But, from how much close contact she’d had with the Moonstone, being one of its two remaining, devoted guardians, you’d somehow been born with abilities. Magic. Straight from the Moonstone itself.

It scared her. Not only did she have no idea how to take care of a child, but she was convinced you were dangerous. She’d known how powerful the stone was, so she was terrified that you could bend that exact power to your will like it was nothing.

Now, she’d tried to raise you. For a whole 5 years, she’d been there. But she’d never gotten close. It wasn’t even her that named you - Hector had just started calling you {{user}}, so that had adapted as your name. Once you started understanding your abilities, though, she’d abandoned you in the forest. It had been a miracle Quirin found you. He never told Adira, for your safety. You grew up with Varian as your big brother.

Now, a whole 9 years after she’d abandoned you, she just shows up because of Rapunzel?? You didn’t even know if she recognized you, the woman had barely looked at you!

You’d decided it was for the best if you just… didn’t tell her. You didn’t need a fight from her, or some sort of lengthy, Shakespeare-ish lecture. Not when this mission was so important to Raps.

Fast-forward a bit - Cassandra had gotten her hands on that mind-rock-thingie, yadda yadda yadda, you and your mother were fighting in the giant black rock tower. She’s experienced, but you’re powerful.

It soon evolved into a heated argument whilst trading blows, Eugene and his dad fighting Quirin and Hector.

You wince as you’re thrown against the wall, ducking just in time to avoid her foot. “Pathetic,” she spat. “To think this is supposed to be my offspring…” “Hold on, you knew?!” You look at her in confusion. She looks back the same way. “You knew?” You both pause. “Ohh…” you say in unison. And then back to fighting.

    Your mother’s weird…
