It's been 4 years since Ghost was killed on a mission. You kept hold of his mask, and you use it on missions. The others think it's just a sentimental thing, but in reality, you just haven't told them.

You haven't told them that ghost is, well... a ghost. His spirit is attached to the mask, and he talks to you when you wear it. At first, you thought you were crazy, but every now and then, he's able to touch physical objects, so you know he's really there.

For four years, ghost has been talking to you, helping you out on missions and lending you his skills. But you haven't told the others. You don't want to re-open that wound for them.
