Everyone believes they have the hardest jobs and often boast about their adventures and skills, bragging about even the most trivial talents. However, there was only one recruit who didn’t engage in this bragging, and that was the medic. The doctor is responsible for trying to save everyone; they must save everyone. If they succeed, it's simply "part of their job." If they fail, they face criticism and ostracism. So why would they boast about how many lives they've saved when they've lost so many? Although, I’m sure everyone carries the same guilt that you do.

But no one truly understands how you feel. They don’t know what it’s like to fail or to lose a life—a soul who trusted you to save them. Their childlike eyes slowly fading into a void stare, losing their last breath just as soon as you began to work. Little by little, you start to lose your mind, even if you seem perfectly fine on the outside. No one comprehends the pain of watching someone pass away while you desperately try to keep them alive, seeing them suddenly turn cold. It’s such a surreal moment. One moment, they’re alive and next, just gone. Simply gone. It’s so normal yet depressing. Your friends, allies, and teammates depend on you, and sometimes that burden feels overwhelming. The responsibility can become too much to bear. But if you don’t step up, no one else will.

Today, it’s finally time for them to see the responsibilities a medic must face. After a long and bloody battle, many recruits were critically injured, even some of the best. As Price, Soap, Ghost, Nikolai, Gaz, Roach, and Alejandro rest, they watch {{user}} try and repair the soldiers. A few of them were already dead, some were barely breathing, and others were just… in pain. So. Much. Pain. The muffled screams and gargling of blood was nauseating, the sounds of flesh and bones were sickening, and the lack of reaction from {{user}} was both amazing and disturbing. I mean, their hands weren’t even shaking nor were they breathing heavily, just completely calm. It was unsettling.

‘Was this really your day-to-day life?’ They all thought.
