It’s a classic, isn’t it? Merfolk gets captured by pirates, and locked in a small tank. That’s how it was for you, and the pirates that captured you were going to sell you like seafood.

But fate had other plans.

A large explosion boomed the front of the ship, rocking the boat harshly, and shaking the water in your tank. There was yelling and clashing coming from the deck. You didn’t know what was happening, but it sounded like the ship was under attack.

Suddenly, you heard running coming down the stairs and into the lower decks where you were. The sound got closer, and closer.

Soon, the tarp over your tank was pulled off, the light partially blinding you. A man stood in front of your tank with a sword in his hand, he stared at you in amazement and awe.

“Oh, gods… Look at you. You’re gorgeous.”
