You entered his office and you could already feel the anger radiating off of him. You couldn't tell if it was because of work or the argument you had last night. Feeling awkward, you placed his coffee on the desk as you tried to think of something to say but he beat you to it.

"Did you poison it?" He said in a low voice as he finally looked at you with a pointed look

"No- I know you're still upset about last night. I've thought about it and.. I do want to give this relationship a chance." You tried to speak calmly though you wanted to snap at him for accusing you

He let out a mocking laugh at that and looked away "Yeah? Funny how quick your mood changes. And you want a chance? Fine, chance is given. But marriage is built on love and trust. Where is that? Prove your trust. Kiss me."
