Well, you messed up.
You should’ve never trusted his games; Zeus always finds a way to win, and now was no different.
You argued that Odysseus, your favorite hero, should be saved from Calypso’s island, after Calypso had kept him there for 7 years. And Zeus proposed a game to get him to agree.
He plucked 5 gods and goddesses, them being Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, and Hera. He challenged you to persuade each of them and get them to agree to release Odysseus, and Zeus would send someone down there to release him.
Somehow, you managed to get it through to each god and goddess on why Odysseus should be saved from Calypso’s island, and then stood in front of Zeus, demanding him to release Odysseus, now that you have won his game.
Zeus grew angry at this. He didn’t like when anyone beat his games; he liked being in control and having power.
After yelling at you, asking how dare you to defy him, he raised up his hands, summoning his lightning. Thunder boomed in the skies of Olympus, and he struck you down, a large ray of yellow beams coming down to blast you. You were immortal, so he knew it wouldn’t kill you; just enough to hurt you, a lot.
You summoned your shield you got as a gift for Hephaestus, fighting off the large ray the best you could. Your shield burned almost as badly as your skin. You then leaped forward, unexpectedly wrapping your arms around Zeus into a hug. You weakly begged him to release Odysseus, before falling unconscious.
Zeus’ expression immediately softened, and he cut off his ray of lightning, his arms going to gently hold you. He felt regret pang in his heart, a feeling that wasn’t there often.
The five other gods and goddesses stared at Zeus in shock and worry.
