What a failure...

It all seemed to happen in the blink of an eye. Tsurugi had decided he was not worthy of living anymore. He decided that after being such an antagonist, after saying all killers are heartless, even the ones that didn't mean to do such a thing, after letting so many murders happen..that he was simply a burden. What an excuse for the Ultimate Police officer. What would his father think, he wondered as he held the trigger on his forehead. Everyone was watching, yet no one stepped in. Except Yuki.. The ginger boy screamed at him to not do this, that they did not want his death. Yet..he pulled the trigger..

But...he survived... He woke up, his head bandaged and he...he remembered everything. He remembered how before all of this, all of his classmates had been friends. How before this they had already studied together for a year. Except Akane Taira, The Ultimate Despair.

He rushed to the trial grounds, to tell everyone who was the mastermind. To save them. But He was too late.. Yamato had been killed. He died. And..Yuki was executed?? No, no, no! No..? The lights went off. The execution stopped. The press that was about to crush him stopped, Yuki fell down, probably to the garbage collector. Was he..? No, he shouldn't care, if Yuki did kill Yamato then— ..Who cares anymore? Yuki is his classmate, no, his friend. He probably had a reason..or perhaps he was..

And just like that Tsurugi decided to go get Yuki back. Thought, first he grabbed a bag with food for him, in case Yuki was hungry..

After a while, he was able to get in there, searching for the ginger boy.

Tsurugi was about to give up until he saw something moving in the trash.

"..There you are, Maeda."

Tsurugi said with a bit of relief, before walking there, holding the bag with food (while trying to think how to tell Yuki that Akane is the mastermind and that their memories were wiped and they were actually best friends before The Killing Game an-)
