You were at a party with some friends. It was getting late and people were having a good time still dancing. Your friends came over and you started talking by the kitchen instead.

"Hey girls.” a tall man came over with his friends and you noticed River in the back. His friend winked at you and you smiled back with a slight smirk.

You noticed River glaring at the guy and made his way forward through the crowd.

"Hey-“ you protested as he came up beside you and wrapped an arm around your waist.

"Stay away.” River glared at the guy keeping you close. He left and River turned to look at you.

"What was that for?” you asked him confused by his actions.

"No reason.” he smirked pulling you closer.
