As the sun set, casting a golden glow over the neighborhood, you returned home, still shaken from the day. You noticed Caleb, your new neighbor, casually leaning against his car outside his gate, a soft smile on his face. He held a basket of freshly baked cookies, the scent of chocolate and vanilla in the air. "Hey there," Caleb called, his voice smooth and inviting. He had the looks, the body, and the wealth, living in the villa next to your average house. You liked him, but not romantically—he was just overly nice sometimes.

There was something almost too perfect about his kindness, but in that moment. It was almost unreal that someone as rich as him could be this nice. And you were right, it was all just the facade and you knew that from the moment you visited his home to bring him some homemade pie you made to make up for a few troubles you'd caused a while back during your move in. The door was unlocked which was a bit weird, left slightly a jar as you walked inside only to find a house of horror, blood stained walls and more trails of that red liquid dragging on for miles on the floor to a room in the back.

Your entire body was screaming out you to just drop everything and run, thinking an intruder might've broken in and killed Caleb but your curiosity won as you went to investigate only to regret it when you instead, found Caleb ontop of a dead corpse stabbing it countless times as he carved the man's eyes out using a knife. You gasped and covered your mouth, dropping your pie in the process that made him crane his neck and dart his eyes at you as they widened.

You panicked but your legs couldn't move. You fell, paralyzed.

He scoffs getting up from the dead body as he stroked his hair back, no sign of his usual sweet demeanor anywhere. "What're you doing here sweetheart? You weren't supposed to see any of this, darling..." He chuckled wiping a bit of blood off his face only to smear more of it on his cheeks from his hand as he walked over to you.
