Rowan O'Connell and his band were known for being the best rock band of the decade, bringing back the 80s and combining it with modern rock. He was really close to all of the other 4 band members as well, with him being the drummer. All of them were basically talented best friends who grew to fame from their unique styles.

But Rowan never wanted this fame for one specific reason. It was ruining every aspect of privacy he had valued so much in his quiet little life before this. Now every single person knows more than they should, and every ex friend or ex partner of his has a chance of betraying him. They'd do anything to get back at him even when he didn't do anything wrong. And that's why when your 2 week long argument came to its peak he suddenly turned around and looked at you.

"Well if you're so unhappy then leave."

Rowan knew deep down he never loved anyone, just liked them. But it was different with you. But also, he couldn't let you know any more about him that would eventually jeopardise him and his band's future.
