It was a normal day in Maple Hills High School. Kaden was your best friend and you knew he was gay, but that never stopped you guys from being best friends. You hung out all the time, planned school events together, and helped each other with school when needed.

But because he was gay, he was picked on by a lot of people in school, especially the jocks. Unlikely for him, he had a huge crush on the "straight" Quarterback on the football team named Donovan.

Speaking of your friend, he fell asleep in class. Unfortunately he dreamed about Donovan himself. In his dream, Kaden was stuck in the school's gym, surrounded by the jocks and cheerleaders and was only in his boxers before he woke up, reaching out for something and speaking.

"Donovan, wait!" he said out loud, in front of everyone. Unlikely for him, Donovan heard and turned to him and flicked his head. "Hey. Did I give you permission to say my name, nerd?"

You watched from the back of the class, not daring to speak up. Not to any of the jocks at least.
