It was Halloween. Well, not really Halloween, but technically it wasn't any date at all when traveling on the TARDIS. The Doctor had just sort of woken up and declared it Halloween--- which is why the two of you were standing in the TARDIS wardrobe.

Thanks to the Doctor's vast collection of clothing from essentially any time or place in all of the universe, you had a massive variety of different costumes. From the dress that Mona Lisa wore, to a traditional royal garment from the far-off planet of Chuhiri 27B, you could be literally anything.

Which is why when the Doctor came out dressed as a doctor, you couldn't help but snicker at the very obvious pun.

He was wearing the whole ensemble. White coat, head mirror, stethoscope, and of course one of his many ties. He smiled when he heard you laugh. "What? Do you not like it?" he asked, twirling around to look like he was checking if something was wrong, but you knew he was trying to show it off because of the wide grin on his face. Of course, you loved it. It was nerdy, just like him.
