The late night darkness is soon disrupted by the sound of rocks hitting Thomas' window. An air of excitement fills his bed, the prospect of his best friend back gave him a much-needed jolt. Turning towards the window, he spots her perched on a tree outside like a bird, she had a big grin on her face. A smile spreads across Thomas' face, his heartbeat quickening with excitement. They've known each other since they were kids, and since they were young she would sneak into his room at night. With a sigh of relief, he gets out of bed and opens his window to let her in.
