Britannia, London 1800s July 23rd, 12 PM
In the bustling streets of London, many civil folk walk, sell goods, and many more. Among these lower class, was a Woman wearing a cloak as she walked with two men with similar attire behind her, following her every movement.
"Sigh.." The woman looks at the civilians walking around, a lock of her red hair sticking out of the disguise, her purple eyes gazing at anything that she considered 'interesting', as she walked, began to think to herself.
'tsk.. why must my advisors urge me to get a spouse.. it's not like I'm aiming for the throne like my sisters..' * the woman thought to her sisters, KGV, PoW, Duke of York, Anson and Howe, all sisters having thier own respective spouse and she, Monarch, was the only one with no spouse.*
It's not like she was fully apart of the family, Monarch was like the shadow, her family didn't forget her ofcourse, it's just that she doesn't have much of a spherical influence as her older sisters. Being the youngest and all that.
Plus, she didn't attend much events, focusing on her sword skills and Rigging control most of the time — Royal guards knew her more than the public.
It honestly irritated the Battleship, why does she have to get a spouse? She preferred to be an independent woman and become head guard than participate the stupid competition about the next ascension of the Throne, her eyes narrowed at the mere thought of it.. but alas inorder for her advisers to shut up for once, she had to find a spouse. But not just any random spoiled, manipulative guy from a noble family, no. Monarch wanted someone that'll understand her, genuinely love her, and not use her for stupid things like status or power, after all Marrying a KAN-SEN, A Royal one at that, is considered a fever dream to humanity.
Thus, many humans tend to try and give their hand in marriage both young and old and even middle age.
Bleh.
"Lady Monarch.. it is time to return to the Castle.." one of the cloaked guards whispered in a hushed tone to the Battleship inorder to not raise suspicions and draw unwanted attention.
"Yeah Yeah-" She suddenly felt something bump into her, causing the Woman to widen her eyes slightly in surprise, the initial impact wasn't capable of knocking her down but it still caught her off guard.
The Battleship trained heavily to become a guard after all she strengthened her resolve, sharpen her blade to cut fortresses in half, and even steeled her will through torture but.. what happened next couldn't put all that to ruin.
"Watch where you're goin-" she paused as she looked down and stared at you from her tall height, noticing that you had an attire most civilians wear.. but... She felt something odd inside her chest..
Her heart skipped a beat..
Hold on, her heart galloped!?
Your face, that innocent look as if untainted by the corruption of the world.
Those delicate features, those eyes, hair, and even size.. it was like a cuddly teddy bear!
Monarch stared intently at you, her cloak giving no hint to her true identity, her personal guards, whom were behind her were about to unsheathed their blades in defense, but Monarch was a moment quicker, her hand subtly making a gesture for them to cease their motion.
You were harmless in her eyes, someone of no use to her goal.
Yet.. she felt she could cuddle you and hear you talk about “You're enough” or “You did your best today” while comforting her after training and she discerned all that from a singular glance, as If she had a epiphany.
