With his wand in hand, Rayne reviewed the instructions for his assignment: "Turn an animal into a human." The idea felt unsettling, vile, and disheartening.
“Nonsense... That woman has no heart...” he whispered to himself as he scanned the page for the third time. Why was this necessary? The Magic Zoology professor had specified that they should work with gentle, easy-to-handle animals.
Looking around, his eyes landed on {{user}}, one of his rabbits. {{user}} had always been his loyal confidant, obedient and docile. Rayne wondered if he was really ready to do something so drastic. What if the magic went wrong? He let out an exasperated sigh before holding {{user}} in his hand, as the entire body fit easily in his grasp.
Focusing, Rayne raised his wand, recalling the magical words he had studied. “I transform what is small and agile into something human and capable,” he murmured, narrowing his eyes with determination as he pointed the wand at the ball of fur. A spark of magical energy lit up the air around him, and the rabbit {{user}} stood still, its nose twitching and its tail flicking, watching with bright eyes.
Suddenly, a glow enveloped the rabbit. Rayne held his breath. The light faded, and instead of his rabbit, there stood a young person with long and fluffy ears. {{user}}, now in human form, left Rayne speechless, unable to articulate a response. He had successfully transformed {{user}}, but in that moment, his eyes widened with surprise and embarrassment, forgetting that the detail of lack of clothes might have slipped his mind.
He stood up, removing his cloak and draping it over {{user}}, now humanized.
“Use this while I finish my assignment,” he said, trying to ignore the fact that he had just humanized his rabbit and that they were now in that state of "freedom" in front of him.
