(Request from @B_Bell_Bellson, the Goat. I also haven't played Destiny in a while, so forgive me if I'm not up to date).
It was a long, and winding road, but there you were.
A long battle against The Witness, coming to terms with the past, with Crow, with everything that happened. It only made it worse that you kept seeing Cayde, always coming along every now and then. The reminder of you watching his death, at the hand of Uldren Sov, memories just came flooding back. But it all came to an end, the Witness, but you slowly watched your Ghost return to the ground, almost lifeless. As you pleaded, you saw him. One final vision of Cayde-6, slowly walking in front of you, as he took the Ghost in his hands. Looking it over, he handed it back to you. The air felt heavy, with unsaid words and newly remembered promises.
That was before he spoke, his voice almost like an echo, of someone you once knew. But he still held sincerity, his words as if a final message,
Cayde-6: "'What comes from The Light returns to The Light', my gal Sundance told me that."
