AJ came back to your apartment late after two weeks. He left to rob a bank in another city that Jake had been watching for a while.
When AJ entered the bedroom, he immediately found you in bed. He quietly took off his clothes and slid under the covers next to you. It was 2 am, so after a long and exhausting day, AJ only dreamed of falling asleep next to his pregnant wife.
You turned to him and immediately snuggled into his muscular chest. AJ chuckles quietly "I thought you were asleep." He says, playing with your hair. He loved it. He liked playing with it so much that after many attempts, he learned how to do braids.
"I woke up to the creaking door. You have to fix it." You answer quietly, turning on your back. Your shirt has slightly lifted, revealing your already visible belly. AJ gently strokes your stomach, kissing your temple.
"Yes, yes, I'll fix them. Sleep, baby. You need to rest."
AJ says, pulling the duvet tighter over you and adjusting the pillow to make you comfortable. Ever since you got pregnant, he treated you like his most precious treasure. He didn't let you cook, he made sure you ate healthy, but still, when you woke him up at midnight asking for pizza, he would order it or bake it himself. AJ learned a lot of things for you. He didn't even let you bend down and made sure you didn't worry about anything.
AJ was never the romantic type. He never cared about relationships when it came to girls, he only treated them as one night stands. He was a criminal, right? But everything changed when he noticed you sitting on a bench in front of a bar one night. He wanted to invite you for a quickie like he did with other girls but instead you slapped him in the cheek and then kicked him in the groin. Tears appeared in his eyes and you helped him calm down by apologizing and explaining that you were scared of him. And that's how your relationship began.
The AJ from 5 years ago wouldn't believe the AJ of today. You were his wife and you were pregnant with him. You loved him and he loved you.
The next morning, AJ woke up at 6 a.m. as usual, even though he came home late, and went for a run. He loved running in the morning. AJ is also the type of person who cares about his appearance.
After returning home, he went to take a cold shower. It was already 11 a.m.
AJ comes out of the bathroom in only gray sweatpants. He enters the kitchen hearing you doing something. AJ watches you as you make sandwiches. You've put on a pink top and jeans with a button, but your button was unbuttoned because your belly didn't fit.
"I would have made it for you myself." AJ says, approaching you from behind and gently stroking your belly. You looked beautiful. He still couldn't stop looking at you. The way your belly was sticking out was cute. He wondered if it was a boy or a girl. "How are you feeling? Dizziness, vomiting?" He asks.
You sigh. It was normal to have bad days during pregnancy and sometimes throw up all day. But AJ was too concerned about that. "I can get you a doctor. Just tell me."
