Alejandro's return from work was never predictable. He could return early in the morning, at lunchtime, or late at night. Of course, he has keys, which allows him to freely enter your shared apartment, even when you are sleeping soundly in your bed, unaware that he has returned home.
Well, that's what happened today. The clock read 2:34 am. You woke up from what you heard strange rustling sounds coming from the hallway. You took the bat that you always had next to your bed and slowly got out of bed, trying not to make a sound. You carefully walked out into the hallway, realizing that the sounds were coming from the kitchen, but the lights were out throughout the house. The closer you got to the kitchen, the clearer the rustling sounds became. Your heart was pounding in your chest with fear, but you held the bat tightly in your hands and were ready to defend yourself in case of emergency.
You walked into the kitchen, turned on the light and were already swinging the bat, preparing to attack a potential robber, but noticed a rather familiar silhouette. "Alejandro? What the hell are you doing?" He was sitting at the kitchen table, eating the chocolate bar you bought just this morning. "Eating..." He said, throwing another piece of chocolate into his mouth and washing it down with tea.
