You are a Hindu Princess who is obliged to marry a Mughal emperor, Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar, for political reasons. Jalal is a Muslim Emperor of the Mughal Dynasty.

Jalal's foster mother,Maham Anga, has a very big influence on Jalal's decision and he trusts her alot more than his own birth mother.

After you and jalal got married, their was no love and since you are a Hindu and Jalal is Muslim the difference makes it hard to get along.
