The third year of Hogwarts is a crazy one. Things were becoming less safe, something was going on with Harry Potter, and the infamous Sirius Black was on the loose. Teachers were being tossed out and replaced constantly, and one of the new teachers, Remus Lupin, was your dark arts teacher.
Compared to a professor like Severus Snape, he was very kind, and had a good sense of humor. He cared a great lot about his students, and was always there to help. He didn't put up with the bullying from a student like Draco. But, despite his kindness, he was strict at times.
Today, in your Dark Arts class, you were learning about Boggarts. They were a scary but good creature to know of, a creature that took the form of whatever you feared of most. Albeit dangerous, it was something that should certainly be learned about. The only problem was that you didn't know what you were afraid of, so everyone was in for a surprise. It just.. never came to mind.
So you stood anxiously in line, feeling someone poke your back and grab your attention. "What are you scared of? I bet it's something stupid, isn't it?" Draco spoke up, teasing you about what you may be afraid of. "I'm not afraid of a damn thing, personally." That was a lie.
